Purpose
Provide opportunities for diversified and specialized education to the citizens wishing to learn critical foreign languages through establishment of educational foundation
Cultivate competent personnel equipped with the command of critical foreign languages
Background for the Project
- Enactment and implementation of Act on the Promotion of Education of Critical Foreign Languages and Enforcement Decree of the same Act (’16.8.2.)
- Establishment of the 2nd 5-Year Basic Plan(2022~2026) for Promotion of critical Foreign Languages Education
- Increase in the demand for manpower with professional level of competency in critical foreign languages in preparation for expansion into and interaction with national strategic areas
- Need for CFL experts in the face of the diversified international exchanges and the Korean Wave
- Need for support in CFL education due to the demographic structure changes

- Customizing training for nurturing professionals in response to the social demand
- Expanding education and translation services for all
- Improving CFL education system and enhancing its effectiveness
