Purpose

To carry out "Korea·China Teacher Exchange" agreement, during the Korean and Chinese Ministerial Meeting (2011.11.24), by inviting outstanding Chinese teachers who have 'Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language Certificate' through the Chinese government, in order to strengthen Chinese language education in Korean public schools and foster competitiveness in the era of globalization.

Financial Support

• Monthly pay
• Residential support by the City and Provincial Offices of Education in Korea
• Extra pay, retirement pay, etc.

Recruitment Procedures

Applicants are recommended by the Chinese government (Center of Language Education and Cooperation) and documents are screened by NIIED.

Period: 1 year or less

• Recruitment and Selection
• Orientation in China before arriving at Korea
• Arriving in and Orientation in Korea
• School placement and commence teaching
• Consulting and Performance reporting
